It has been amazing to meet so many members of our community through the years who got into Vampire and the World of Darkness through playing Bloodlines. Not directly related to their plans as far as I know of them, Impish Ian Watson tells me that it is the 11 year anniversary of the Bloodlines video game. This is, of course, the fifth of the Big Five gamelines, and we’re thrilled to be creating an edition that celebrates our shared love of CtD! We’ve got some great ideas for this one and I’m going to run a few possible options past our printers this week.Īs for the rest of my meeting with Tobias and Martin, I can only say that it was fantastic and I’m looking forward to the time when plans have all been solidified and we can share them with you all. Very pleased to say that we’ve been OK’d to go ahead with the Changeling: the Dreaming 20th Anniversary Edition Kickstarter that we’ve planned for December into January. Lovecraft, Arthur Conan Doyle, and racism. Or maybe talk about how today at lunch Eddy and I discussed H.P.
And it really is delightfully evocative of the universe and characters we last saw at the end of the Return of the Jedi. Speaking of Kickstarters, he segued innocently, I have good news to report from last week’s meeting with the fellas at the new White Wolf Publishing (Paradox Interactive).īut first, I should talk about how awesome our old friend and original Hunter: the Vigil developer Chuck Wendig’s Star Wars: Aftermath novel is. But do it fast, as there’s not a lot of time left to pledge for this Deluxe edition and whatever Stretch Goals may come out of the KS. Since we have included the links for all the text currently going into the book, you can give it a once-over yourself before pledging.
This book is usable by W20 players of both the Garou and the Changing Breeds and includes options for both sides in these terrible conflicts through the ages. I got a message from a prospective backer worried that the book just detailed ways to waste his beloved Changing Breeds, and No! it is not that at all. We’ve added a link to the final chapter (on the War of Tears) as that text has now been OK’d by developer Snappy Stew Wilson to reveal to folks. Of course, I wouldn’t have been thinking about W20 Shattered Dreams if the Kickstarter for the Deluxe Edition was not in it’s last 5 days. Hey, it gave me a blog title this week, which is not always the easiest thing to come up with. I have no idea why that came to mind except I just saw a video of Anthony Bourdain, who I find always fun to watch, extolling the virtues of Waffle House, a chain of eateries ubiquitous to the southern US. Īmazingly, the Waffle House menu list of options for their home fries of scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, peppered, capped, and topped, sound a lot like a description of this illustration by Ron Spencer for the W20 Shattered Dreams book. Shattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, peppered, capped, and topped.
